What is Frenesia Software?
Frenesia Software is an independent game development studio founded by three passionate colleagues from the Valletta Higher Educational Institute. The trio, who graduated in April 2022 with Bachelor’s degrees in Digital Arts specializing in Game Design, laid the foundation for their creative journey before even completing their studies. Their debut project, Bottle Run 3D, is a hyper-casual game released on the Google Play Store that showcases their knack for engaging and frenetic game experiences. Beyond their launch, the team actively participated in various game development events and jams, with the unwavering support of many friends and colleagues who encouraged and aided them throughout their development journey. A significant milestone came in 2021 when their prototype, A Minute Outside, won both the Best Design and Best Game awards at the VHEI’s annual student game jam. Despite their early sign of possible successes, the path of professional life proved challenging as their careers began to diverge, making it difficult to continue working together as a team. However, their shared ambition and passion for game development remain undiminished. Frenesia Software continues to symbolize their collective dream of creating innovative and independent game projects, a vision they hope to bring to life in the future.
